The daily Bible verse comes before you and provides a glimpse into what God's character is like through various examples from the Bible. It gives you insight on how He relates to you as His follower. There are certain general rules that we can all abide by and those that we do not. There are also several exhortations to us that we can learn and apply to our lives.
Today's Bible Verse is from the New Testament and so you will see several familiar phrases here such as: For he will bless you, for he will save you. Today's Bible Verse also provides several exhortations such as: Pray, because God is able to raise up men in place of you. It also explains to us that there will be weeping and wailing upon your path. In addition there is also a Biblical Message such as: Behold, I am in your midst; wipe away the tear from my eyes. Finally there is a caption verse for today's lesson, which states: When your enemy is defeated, offer him this day the love of God Amen.
Information is often passed over or ignored by Christians because they either do not know about it or they do not believe it is relevant to their lives. But if these same Bible verses were studied more closely, perhaps through some Bible study classes or Bible memorization then some of these would certainly start to percolate back into our lives. It would make us think through some of the things we are doing in our lives and our relationships today. I for one am quite grateful for the help.
If you are like me, you probably use a Bible on a daily basis, possibly more that 20 or so times a day. There are probably many other people who use their Bibles on a daily basis also. Did you know that some people say that each of the eight verses contained in today's Bible can be found in over one hundred and twenty-five ancient Bibles? This means that you are looking at a whopping two thousand and three hundred verses contained in the Bible. That is a lot of information and if you are a person who study the Bible then you should consider this fact.
Imagine for a minute how great it would be to be able to pull up a webpage on your computer and locate the exact wording that is written around each of those eight verses contained in today's Bible. How awesome would that be for someone who was born only one year ago? I think most Christians would jump for joy and give the Lord his due credit. Who knows, you may be the next person to come up with a great Bible study that utilizes a good learning method.
There is another way to find Bible verse citations online and that is by using the supplemental index. This is a very easy to use tool that comes free with your bible. You simply enter the beginning of a verse, the word "also" followed by the page number you want to find additional information about and then click on the link. Within seconds you will be able to see all the verses that are used in today's Bible. The great thing about this system is that it is easy to use and it works perfectly!
