The CrossFit program is driven by data, using whiteboards as scoreboards, keeping accurate scores and records, running a clock, and precisely defining the rules and standards for performance. This data has important value well beyond motivation. It is the principal program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
