Also, it can withstand higher temperatures, but it will begin to degrade faster if exposed to higher temperatures. 18/0 Stainless Steel: This type of stainless steel material uses only 18% of chromium and it doesn’t contain any nickel. This is less resistant to corrosion when compared to 18/10 and 18/0 stainless steel materials. They are not resistant to heat, and they will degrade quickly if it is left in saltwater or overexposed to acidic compounds.
