Problem with Perfection |
Posted: July 17, 2012 |
Does Mary Poppins come to mind for you here? You know..."practically perfect in every way"? Striving to do well is a positive in my book. What's more, it keeps you stuck in the striving. You lose sight of the big picture, endlessly seeking perfection in everything you do. I had a boss once who liked to say, "Good enough never is." What's the key? Identify what's important and focus your energy there. Like with relationships, quality of life, self-care... Not everything is equally important all the time. I don't know what's important to you, but if you're looking for progress and not perfection, this could be a great time to carpe diem. Or carpe chocolate...I can never get those two straight. https://www.facebook.com/ConnectionCoaching To your new now,
