The U.S. Galaxy Note Edge release date remains as mysterious as ever though we’ve seen some progress occur in the past few days including an official appearance on Samsung’s website.
Devices typically get listed on Samsung’s website Amoi A928W free shipping shortly before their announcement so we could possibly see some movement in the next couple of weeks as Samsung irons out the final details with its partners and the FCC.
In the past few weeks, the AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint Galaxy Note Edge models have all passed through the FCC. Samsung’s listings also confirm two important details for U.S. buyers ahead of the Galaxy Note Edge release. First, colors. The black and white models will hit all four carriers. This was never in any doubt though with Japan struggling to get the white Galaxy Note Edge out onto shelves, the white model could be a little harder to find at launch.
Carriers have also opted for the 32GB and not the 64GB Galaxy Note Edge. This was expected given their allegiance to the 32GB Galaxy Note 4. With a microSD card slot on the side, 32GB of internal storage space should be enough storage space for most people.
Samsung’s brand new Galaxy Note Edge is a concept phone and one that should be intriguing to those that are looking to upgrade to a high-end smartphone. Its specs include a Quad HD resolution, a 2.7 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 805 with 3GB of RAM, S Pen Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Samsung TouchWiz, 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, massive battery, and a thin 8.3mm frame. It also comes with a curved display unlike any other.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge release date continues to today with a launch in South Korea, Samsung’s home market, where the device will battle the likes of the Galaxy Note 4, LG G3, and iPhone 6 Plus for smartphone supremacy.
In early September, Samsung announced a slew of new products including the curved Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. At the time, the company revealed the Galaxy Note Edge specs and confirmed a release for later this year though it did not offer any specifics regarding the exact Galaxy Note Edge release date or the Galaxy Note Edge price.
Slowly but surely, we’ve started to see Galaxy Note Edge release date and Galaxy Note Edge price information emerge for select markets. Earlier this month, Japan became the first country to release the Galaxy Note Edge and today, Korea becomes the second country to release the Galaxy Note Edge to the public at large.
As expected, October 28th serves as the Galaxy Note Edge release date in Korea. Both SK Telecom and KT are set to offer the black and white versions of the Galaxy Note Edge. It appears that the white Galaxy Note Edge, which encountered issues in Japan, will arrive tomorrow October 29th. Japanese carriers won’t release the white model until November due to delays in the manufacturing process.
Korean carriers will charge 1,067,000 South Korean Won which amounts to over $1000 in U.S Asus ZenFone6 free shipping . currency. There, the Galaxy Note Edge will cost 49,990 rubles which is the equivalent of $1221 in the United States. Russia is expected to get the Galaxy Note Edge in November or December before the end of the year.
