My then six-year-old son and I spent a couple of days at my cousin's summer home doing some last minute and impromptu research. We found a great vacation rental in Chula Vista, CA for our stay. While my son and I luxuriously enjoyed the location, my cousin's cottage had recently burned down. We were eager to return to Chula Vista and to begin the process of writing our first papers for homecoming. This was going to be a challenging and emotional period for both of us. I have gone to over 30 countries across four continents and, although I have not been physically present in all of them, I have shared my experiences through my writings.
