Camera: The camera in the S5 is quite impressive for a smartphone. It went from the 13 megapixel (MP) camera in the S4 to the 16 MP original Xiaomi Mi4 in the S5. That is a nice leap for a smartphone camera. That will lead to sharper pictures. Even the front facing camera for "selfies" increased 0.1 MP to 2.1 MP. "Every megapixel helps", Samsung probably thought to themselves. Processor: A nice leap here in processor speed from the S4 to the S5. The S4 clocked in at 1.9 GHz using a quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. In the S5, you will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quadcore processor clocking in at 2.5 GHz. 2.5 GHz for a smartphone processor is very impressive. Battery: A better battery in the S5 does not equal better battery life. The S4 still averages more talk time and standby time than the S5. Rugged: The S5 is water resistant for a limited amount of time as well as dust resistant. Not many phones can say this so this may be a great reason to switch over to the Samsung Galaxy S5. All eyes may be on the Apple iPhone 6 but Samsung has had a big screened phone since 2013, the Galaxy S4 and S5. Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 do not have that many differences but one major difference between the S4 (March 2013) and the S5 (February 2014) is the ruggedness and the weight. Looking at the two phones original ZOPO ZP998 you can decide which is better for you based on specs. Screen Size: From 5.0 inches to 5.1 inches between the S4 and the S5. Not much of a change here. Even the resolution stayed the same at 1080x1920.
