Webbing: as many uses as you can imagine! |

During the year 1974 there was a series of rafting accidents in Idaho that gave Bill Parks, founder of NRS, an idea. Instead of tying the equipment with a rope or a strap (which causes the difficulty of then untie it) why not better adapt the belts used in the transport industry? Bill joined a heavy-duty buckle with a UV-resistant strap. This is how the NSR webbing were born, changing the world of rafts forever. And not only have we changed the way we secure the rafts, but also how we attach these boats to our vehicles, how we open beers when we camp, how we tie our pants when we do not have a belt, and a series of other alternative uses for those who like world of boats. Here is a series of alternative uses for the webbing, some very useful and others not so much: Dry clothes Fighting against the smell of humidity is a lost struggle if you do not have access to ventilate your equipment. Whether you're camping or at home, keeping your clothes away from moisture is very necessary. Take a strap and wind it around a couple of trees, and that way you'll easily have a clothesline that would make your grandmother proud. If you do not have a strap that long, put together a couple of the smaller ones. Collecting wood When you go to the beach, the sun is setting and nobody starts the fire, take a not too long strap and go out in search of firewood. Tie the firewood harvested with the strap and you will not have to worry about it falling or occupying both your hands on it. Tie things to the roof of your vehicle. Either to transport a Christmas tree, a piece of furniture, a pair of skis, or whatever you can think of. While some will say that there is no such thing as a classic knot with a rope, we believe that the highway is not the place to allow one to break loose and create a disaster. So use a strap and there is no more problem. Repair all kinds of things Whether your bumper is down, or your backpack needs reinforcement, we have seen a huge amount of temporary repairs made with the NRS webbing. Load a number of webbing proportional to how deteriorated your equipment is and you will feel reasonably sure that nothing will happen to you. Anyway, it's never bad to bring a bit of tape with you. Trailer You Stayed in panne? You are in the snow and you need to tie dogs to a sled? The webbing are tough enough to tow almost anything. What your mind can create! For the simple things in life we ??need equally simple solutions. Hang a hammock, install a roof for rain, or even reach fruits that are high in a tree (as if it were a whip).
