1. Dacia, the European Car Maker, used Facebook boosted posts in a promotional campaign to increase their brand and drive new leads. Using stats taken from testing ads posted at different times they worked out the best time and place to place their ads.
What was the result? A massive increase in their brand awareness and 60,000 extra cars sold in the last three years!
2. The Girl Scouts and Twitter. The Girl Scouts wanted to ensure that the local community knew where to find their local Scout Rep so they could buy cookies. So, they decided to increase the number of downloads of their Girl Scout Cookie Finder mobile app. They used Twitter and Tweeted a picture of their delicious cookies with their app.
Bingo! The app was downloaded straight from their Tweet. Simple!
