Solution: You can try various solutions to fix this problem for a temporary period, but the best way to permanently fix the problem is by replacing the filter.
Leaking back: This problem normally arises in DE filters and happens due to leakage of air. If this is not the factor that is causing the problem, then possibly a damage in the filter can be a reason for this problem.
Solution: One of the best ways to bring an end to this problem is by installing a check valve in between the pump and the filter valve. If the filter is damaged, try not to repair it; instead get it replaced.
