Heat exchanger is an equipment designed for efficient heat transfer from one matter to another, the matter can be separated by a wall made of a solid material or it can be in direct contact. Heat exchangers are often found in internal combustion engines but are also be used in power plants, refineries, sewage treatment and chemical plants.
