Located in Georgia’s capital city in the Midtown district nearby the Woodruff Arts Center and the High Museum, Atlanta's John Marshall Law School stands out as one of the country’s oldest law schools and among the nation's first to admit both women and minorities. The school is proud to offer law school education to non-traditional, under-served, and adult students, thereby affording person's who might not otherwise have the opportunity to study entry into a rewarding legal career. As such, the student population remains incredibly diverse, which lends the school a rich and unique academic environment. Throughout its long history, graduates of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School have generally found employment in the private practice of law, as judges, in government service, including public defenders and district attorneys, and the legal department of major corporations and businesses. More than a few graduates have gone on to elected office in Georgia and elsewhere.
