Texas Swim Academy is the only swim facility in the Greater Houston area dedicated to teaching the Infant Aquatic Survival method. It is our mission as a business to not only teach your children how to survive in the water, but also to build proficient swim skills and create an environment in which your children can have a safe and fun experience in the water.

What Sets Us Apart
Texas Swim Academy began in 2004 as a home based business in the Katy Area providing infant water survival training. In 2004, Kathleen McMordie formed the company after receiving extensive in-water and academic training to teach infant aquatic survival. The training she received enabled her to safely and effectively teach infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers skills that could save their lives. The home-based business steadily developed over the next few years reaching the maximum usage of our backyard pool by 2009.
In 2012, we built an approximately 7,800 square foot facility to provide climate-controlled, well-equipped, central location where families can bring their children to learn and to practice their swimming skills.
