How I Got Started
Back when computers were first announced, 1956, I worked for the C & O Railroad in accounting and a friend told me about a computer class after work. I said, what is that? He said, you know, IBM, the company that makes typewriters. Free education, why not? I went to the class and I was hooked!! Changed direction and have loved this business ever since.
Started in operations, then programming and systems analysis, design and development. Served 3 years in the U.S. Army far-east financial headquarters, Japan, managing various IT accounting systems and operations. Worked for IBM, providing operating support services for customers. Held several IT department manager positions. 14 Years with the Commercial Credit/McCullagh Leasing group as VP Data Processing, VP Leasing operations, VP Financial Management and Accounting for six legal entities, VP Corp. Leasing Operations, and VP corporate IT systems planning.
Joined the Memorex Corp. in sales of equipment and computer operating systems. Joined a two-hospital group with 65 clinics as the Corporate Director of IT, for 14 years.
Founded Information Systems Partners, Inc. in January 1997, providing various IT professional contracted services and sales of various software systems, electronic medical records and Internet systems/applications. 15 years.

I really enjoy systems design, development and launching of new products for customers and the new economy that I doubt I will ever retire.
