Eugene Gorab brings more than two decades of experience in real-estate investing to his position as President and CEO of Greenfield Partners, a private equity firm specializing in real-estate investments. Since establishing Greenfield Partners in 1997, Eugene Gorab has grown the business into a 48-person firm operating from three offices.
The firm has raised more than $4 billion from institutional and private investors and currently holds responsibility for several billion in assets. Recognized as a leader in real-estate investing, Eugene Gorab continues to oversee all of the firm's major operations and is additionally an active member of the Pension Real Estate Association, the Urban Land Institute, and the Real Estate Roundtable.
An alumnus of the University of Chicago, Eugene Gorab graduated with a Master of Business Administration from there, and he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Bucknell University. He laid the foundation for his career in real-estate investing at JMB Realty Corporation before going on to act as one of the Founding Partner of Starwood Capital Group.
