| How We Got Started |
| After years of working in the corporate world, QBO's founder and president Gary Grottke had a desire to start his own business and become an entrepreneur. He began by investing in and starting different businesses related to finance and real estate with former corporate employees like himself. As these businesses began to grow, he found that he willingly took over the ''back office work'' -- the financials, accounting, cash flow management, taxes -- and trained his employees on running the ''behind the scenes'' for each business. Over time he developed an efficient system to manage the back office functions of his businesses, and thus the QBO concept was developed. |
