| How We Got Started |
| My husband lose his job at the beginning of the recession. I wanted a way to earn a little extra income. We had four dogs, I had been a baker, I was very concerned about the chemicals and additives in dog food and treats. So, after two months of research, trial and error, I took my products to the Vt Farmers Market in Rutland, expecting to sell a small amount. In three months, I had build a bakery in the basement, began selling wholesale, have expanded twice, added three new products, hired a part time staff and became know as the dog cookie lady. We recently added a new website, new logo, and established a brand look.
Not bad for a lady who is suppose to be retired. |
