We also design new cultivation facilities, help with the selection of the most suitable mushroom strains, source locally available substrates, assist training of sales and production personnel and identifing specific target markets. Our expertise can help to avoid costly mistakes in setting up a commercial production enterprise thus saving time and money for your company.
Mycoremediation is the use of fungi to degrade or remove toxins from the environment. We provide technical support to install the mycelial mats which are called bunker spawn that can be maintained for years to come.
Brewers Mushrooms offers this service to prevent the downstream pollution and the reduction and elimination of hydrocarbon contamination, herbicides, pesticides, oil, diesel and other pollutants like phosphorous and nitrogen. As well as the E.coli, coliform bacteria and protozoa, produced by farm runoff and manure lagoons.

Education | Hugh went to Paul Stamets classes in Washington in March of 2007 to one of his in-depth workshops. He learned tissue culture, spawn generation techniques, substrate preparation, inoculation techniques, and strategies for maximizing yields. He went back in June of 2007 to a two day intensive workshop that discussed the current practices, evaluation of strategies, and choice of the appropriate fungal candidates for Mycorestoration.
He got hands-on experience in applying mycelium and designing fungal responses to catastrophia.
