Every person today is worried about the increase in the number of road accidents, caused due to careless driving. There are many areas famous for rash driving such as Houston, California, Las Vegas, Pennsylvania and many more. People are getting used to living with this condition in these areas, however, laws need to get stricter not only on the driving, but also on the ways to obtain and sustain the driving license. It is not always the government to be blamed or blame the technology. There are many people who are irresponsible, or still unaware of the traffic rules. Below are the top 5 reasons common for road accidents: 1.) Mobiles: This is one of the major concerns today in every part of the technologically advanced areas. The majority of the accidents, happen with the teens, as they are busy attending or talking on their cell phones. The prevention is in our hands if we value life more than technology. You must park the car at the side and then attend your calls. 2.) Intoxication: Alcohol is again a matter of concern. Drink and Drive cases are more in the limelight these days, and the teenagers are more into the target to be blamed. If you love the night life and like to go clubbing, then take a friend or partner, who is willing to skip drinking for you, drive you to the clubs and take you back home safely. As a better alternative, let your partner drink once, and you drive the car and next time do it vice versa. This will also ensure safety. 3.) Speed of Driving: Many accident cases have been reported due to rash driving. One major reason could be the teens who are in a hurry to reach home after their parents call. No matter what emergency you have in your life, unless you drive at a safe speed, you would pose more risks to your life as well as increase more stress in the family. Take your own speed, calm down and relax. This will help you to reach much quicker than getting stuck at the police station for breaking the traffic laws. 4.) Eating: If you are hungry, stop your car at a restaurant and finish your food. If you fear of reaching late at your work, perhaps it is time to practice the time management skills. Everything has a set time and you must complete it in your schedule. Mixing two things – Eating and Driving, would not allow you to concentrate on any of these and you might end up making a big mishap or an accident. 5.) Advertisements: Many companies and famous brands promote their brands and products on huge screens, especially during late nights. These ads are a big distraction while driving across the highways or sideways. The drivers get busy watching these ads, and by the time they realize that they must concentrate on the road, it is too late.
