The cost of medical treatments has gone up substantially in the past few years. A person suffering from a major disease has to spend a lot of money for treatment that most of us cannot afford. Though being diagnosed with serious ailments is not something which is in your hands, you can still take some steps to make sure that it does not result in a financial crisis for you and your family. After all, prevention is better than cure. The critical illness insurance policy covers the insured person from such situations.
The critical illness policy provides just the right kind of cover against major diseases. By paying the required premium amount, you can get a full-fledged medical cover. Some of the diseases covered in this policy are cancer, major organ transplant, coronary artery diseases requiring bypass surgery, paralytic cerebral stroke, renal failure and accidental injuries resulting in loss of limbs.
